This piece explores the simple, but incredibly powerful act of holding someone’s hand–and the text and pop feel will resonate with singers and audiences alike. It can be performed with any combination of piano and guitar (together or exclusively), though the guitar adds a unique, gentle feel and helps create an intimate sonic environment. Although it can easily stand alone, the piece was crafted as part of a suite, and is an excellent companion piece to Hands are Knockin’ both thematically and harmonically.
