The beautiful intermezzo, entitled “My Bonny Boy,” from Ralph Vaughan Williams’ iconic “English Folk Song Suite” has been skillfully adapted by Ed Huckeby. This Build-A-Band edition allows bands with limited or unusual instrumentation, or sparsely-sized to enjoy the unique character of this band classic. The two folk tunes incorporated in this movement provide tremendous educational opportunities for bands to develop contrasting stylistic skills while rehearsing and performing a classic masterwork.
