Description
The Hodge Silk Bari Sax Swab is a foam-covered flexible snake, 24 inches long, with a very-absorbent silk covering, soaking up water in instruments better than any other natural material on the market, including both cotton and chamois. Silk is also very compressible, making it possible to pull through instruments with large variations in bore size. In addition, silk is lint-free.
The Hodge Silk Bari Sax Swab is uniquely designed to swab out the circular part of the body after each playing session; this keeps the area clean and prevents gunk from building up. It is pushed into the top of the saxophone and around the loo, then pulled back out, removing the moisture. The neck is cleaned similarly.
