Program Notes
Whenever we hear music we really enjoy, what’s our first impulse? That’s right: we turn it up! For me, that’s any piece with an infectious, funky groove, so I’ve aimed to give just that in this tune. From the opening chromatic riff to the retro-style main section, I’ve packed it full of things to hopefully catch the ear and make your audience ask you to “turn it up.” Disclaimer: you’re responsible for any mayhem and dancing in the aisles that might break out!
